Deceived by Doctrines of Demons?
Posted under: So I’m told over and over again that I’m in a cult. But what is the common thread that you see in all actual cults? Usually its an attempt to distract you away from scripture and the Messiah. So is understanding and following Torah a Doctrine of a Demon?
1 Timothy 4:1
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons,
So again, is the Torah a doctrine of a demon? Better check out Proverbs 4:2 and see what the Hebrew word for “Law” is.

Amein! The world and the religious systems definitely view us as something weird and that we have fallen from sound doctrine!
I haven’t really been accused of doctrines of demons per se, but what I do encounter is people thinking we’ve slipped into ‘old’ irrelevant doctrine or some think that we’re converting to Judaism. I still can’t wrap my head around the idea that people don’t want to walk how Yeshua “Jesus” walked. I mean really, if Yeshua walked on broken glass the second Tuesday of every month wouldn’t you want to do the same (far fetched I know)? What do they think being Holy as the Lord is Holy means?

My son and I worked on a set of tzitzits (tzitziot) last weekend for him as we studied his Children’s Torah Club from FFOZ, and his mother told him the Lord doesn’t care about those things anymore…so I feel the opposition to Father’s Holy, Righteous, Good Torah all the time, and i have been told basically I have turned away from “Christ,” which I haven’t, and I at one time believed and thought the same way. Why dont christians see the obvious truth and need for DOING Torah, its liberating, it is not bondage, or evil, or no longer necessary! It is LIFE! WHY DO THEY REJECT LIFE???
Kyle I can relate largely to your frustration. You just want to walk up and shake people!! It is liberating, and it makes you literally feel so free. Its so ironic isnt it. That we have branded it the dier opposite of what it truly is. Stay strong brother, keep up the good fight knowing you’ll stand before The Father as a proud (battered) son. Your giving your son precious gems that he will always hold on to Yah-willing, and thats of utmost importance.
Thanks, April. It’s hard hearing false, unlearned, and non-understanding statements from someone once close to me. I am on vacation in Ohio, staying a few days with my older brother, and he has taken on the position of pastor in a small church, and he has been Waly g me lord of questions about my pursuance of Torah. One question/answered led to another, and when I explained the proper understanding of Colossians 2:16-18; and he saw it in the Greek text himself, I could see he was obviously shaken, and kept asking how/why God would allow scripture to be twisted, etc., for so long. He said moments later that he had been doubting whether he should remain. I pray nothing “bad” happens between us because of it. I told him I was at the same place years ago, and I decided to go the way Yeshua walked and an trying to lay all the man-made teachings and doctrines down. Thanks for your encouragement sister! Kyle, my prayers are with you. My husband and I have had a hard time with our extended families. we have been told that we have lost our salvation because we celebrate the feasts. It can be tough. But speak with grace and hold no hatred or bitterness in your heart. Love them and be kind. It will be tough, and at times you will question why you are doing this. Study scripture.

I think they believe that getting back to our Hebrew Roots is similar to the Branch Davidians. At least that’s what my family believes I’m doing.
Shalom to you all, I thank you Zack and the rest of you for helping me tonight. The past few days have been challenging to say the least with some health issue, some spiritual attacks on my faith and just knowing the whole deceit of this world can some times be over-whelming; However, I AM CONVICTED WITH THIS WALK not matter what and I will prevail with Yah’s assistance in His sound Doctrine!
One of my issues was with the whole upcoming Presidential election and whether I was voting for Mitt Romney because Mr. Obama needed to be removed. I was told today three times from the same person that I really needed to vote for Mitt and I told him that I was done with the whole voting thing and I was not going to vote for either one of them because they are two different wings of the same bird of prey! This individual was adamant about it being our duty as Christians to vote for the lesser of two evils!! First, I did not have the heart to tell him that I am not a Christian but a Hebrew Israelite (if that is a proper label) and we as children of Israel are to be set apart from this Political corruption. I really could not articulate at the time the futility of voting for either one of the candidates.
Also I had some older christian gentlemen ask me if I ever watch TBN ( Trinity Broadcast Network or The Babylon Network) because of it’s great christian content. I admit I was trying to hold my tongue but I said I don’t watch TV and I have enough material to research from ( IE Scriptures and Hebraic roots web site), thank you very much. And He said I really should check it out and I said to him have you checked out the resources I gave to you (such as new2torah, 119ministries, Pastor Dowell and so on) but he replied he has not gotten to it yet. So what do you expect from a Sunday Church-em up Christian who has some good values but misses the whole Torah boat! Even my sister who is on board with the Hebrew roots movement, got a little distracted by the RNC stuff and commented that she might consider voting for Mitt because of all the Republican propaganda rhetoric.
My point is we all have to be ON GUARD now a days because DECEPTION is running at a All time High and some thing that come to me in spirit I believe was We all need to get in tune with Yahweh’s time or calendar. We need to start looking up, like keeping tract of the moon phases to determine His month’s and times. Just something to considered.
