14 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; AND LET THEM BE FOR signs and seasons (mow 'ed = appointed times, set feasts), and for DAYS and years; (Genesis 1)

1 And YHWH spoke to Moses saying, 2 "Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: 'The feasts of YHWH, which you shall proclaim to be HOLY CONVOCATIONS, these are MY FEASTS. 3 'Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a HOLY CONVOCATION. You shall do no work on it; it is the Sabbath of YHWH in all your dwellings. (Leviticus 23)

According to Leviticus 23, is the Sabbath a feast of YHWH, a holy convocation, or is it not? If you were in a plane crash and you awoke on a deserted island after being knocked unconscious for who nows how many days, and you did not have a cell phone, how would you know what day of the week it was? How would you figure out what day the Sabbath is?

Actually, any calendar based on man's concepts of time and cycles is bound to be wrong. We must again return to the true moonths rather than the corrupt months. See www.creationcalendar.com for some pointers on the lunar Sabbath.

In the temple there was a worship service everyday of the week! The command is for us to not do any work on the Sabbath and to memorialize it as the day God rested from creation. As disciples of Christ, we congregate on the Sabbath because that was His custom. We should imitate the actions and traditions of our Rabbi!

I have no problem with people having a congregational worship service on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or even Friday. Just 'Remember' the 4th commandment to keep the Sabbath on the 7th day as set-apart, Holy and do no work nor let anyone work on your behalf.

I came to Torah 9 months ago trying to disprove someone who told a friend that we had to keep it. Spent eight months discussing with the pastor and finally had to part ways as they were being purposefully blind. The pastor said we had to keep only the commandments that ''Jesus'' said and the SAbbath was not one he mentioned. So I told him if we could pick and chose which one we wanted then I think I'll pick commandment number 10. I want to covet what others have guilt free! LOL We left a mainstream church officially last month. We still have people trying to convince us that we are wrong. The argument now is that there is no clear indication that Saturday is the seventh day. Apparently in Germany the calendars have Sunday listed as the seventh day. when one deliberately does not want to see...they just don't.
