Circumcised at 30!

Apr 11, 2013 by     8 Comments    Posted under: Uncategorized

This is a hot topic around this time of the year because of Passover. I keep hearing so many stories of Hebrews getting circumcised as adults when they discover the Truth of Torah and what our Messiah came to preach! It’s the difference between getting a circumcision to be saved and getting a circumcision because you have ALREADY been saved.

Heart before flesh. That is all you are seeing here.

We had this year someone who got upset because they were not invited to Passover because this was a known issue. It’s easy. Hebrews are circumcised. It’s one of the many ways the Father sets HIS PEOPLE apart from the rest of the world. Exodus 12:48 leaves little to misinterpretation.

As for Paul, Did he say to never get circumcised? Or did he point out over and over again that it was not to be done according to the directives of men? The same is done today with preachers who GLORY over the number of people they can get in their water baptistries. The same was done in Paul’s day. Read Carefully!

Galatians 6:13
“For neither they(RELIGIOUS LEADERS) themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have YOU circumcised, that they may GLORY in your flesh.

I can’t count how many churches I have been to that put up pictures or numbers on a wall or bulletin, GLORIFYING in how many professions of faith or baptisms they had last month. They are who Paul speaks about! It’s the same thing!

Heart BEFORE the flesh.

Enjoy the Video.

  • Awesome! Good Deal, I was circumcised while I was an infant but this show true devotion to Yah!! May this be a inspiration to others!

  • Hey, I know that guy! 😀 Thanks for sharing my testimony

  • This is a great blessing! Ruach led is always the best way! Amen and enjoy the freedom of Messiah Yeshua!

  • I went to the doctor to get circumcised when I was 22 years old. And I just want to say to anyone viewing this and thinking of getting circumcised as an adult that our brother Sal is right that this isn’t something to be taken lightly, but also at the same time it is only something you do once. It’s not like you have to get circumcised once a month or anything like that that. So if you are considering getting circumcised as an adult, or if someone in your family is, I want to encourage you to do so out of obedience to the God of Abraham with full knowledge that Abraham was justified by faith before his circumcision and his faith was confirmed in his works. While I was considering circumcision for myself I kept going back to this concept in I Corinthians 7:19: Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

  • I have a question. Let me preface it with this: I have two young (3 & 1 y/o) sons, both of which are circumcised. We are Torah observant followers of Yeshua.
The question: What do you say to those who say that by circumcising as a physical spilling of blood as a sign of the covenant is in effect making the shedding of Christ’s blood void?
Clearly I don’t believe that the Torah was nailed to the cross, BUT I get fuzzy when defending this particular command by this particular argument about blood being shed as a sign of the covenant. Just need a little help on this one, if you’ve got some time.

  • Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing. For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

I hope you continue to get circumcised until you’re a eunuch.

    • Thanks for the mean comment. What Paul was saying that if you are placing your faith in the circumcision of the flesh, it shall profit you nothing. It is and always has been about the circumcision of the heart that counts. Look up how many times in the Old Testament it talks about the circumcision of the heart, WAY more than the Flesh. Faith must come first…then the flesh will follow.

  • Where can an adult go to get a biblical circumcision?
